About Silvan Ruthenberg
Silvan Ruthenberg is a neurodiversity and business strategist, board advisor, and international keynote speaker. Based in Switzerland and active across Europe and beyond, he brings 17+ years of diverse international experience across finance, technology, social impact and the quinary sector.
Leadership in neurodiversity
As former Global CEO and Board Director of the Institute of Neurodiversity (ION) — a neurominority-led global membership organisation active in more than 35 countries — Silvan led initiatives across every continent, addressed the United Nations multiple times, and advised international corporate leaders on making neurodiversity real.
How he works
Silvan treats neurodiversity as a strategic lever: helping organisations unlock cognitive diversity to drive innovation, resilience and performance. His work spans neuroinclusive leadership, talent lifecycle design, and change and transformation — as well as governance, integrating neurodiversity into risk, ESG and future-of-work planning, from AI to innovation to policy and hybrid workplaces.
That same thinking now extends to how organisations govern artificial intelligence. Silvan holds the PMI-CPMAI certification in AI project delivery and expects to complete the IAPP AIGP (AI Governance Professional) credential in October 2026 — pairing governance training with hands-on delivery experience. The through-line across his work is consistent: organisations make better decisions when every kind of mind is genuinely at the table, whether the decision-makers are human, AI-assisted, or both.

Silvan works in German, French, Spanish and English, with clients and audiences across Switzerland, Germany, Austria, the wider EU and internationally.
